With more than 30 years of leadership and management experience in early-stage company development and fast-growing corporations, Jay is President and CEO of Vergent. Jay is a business executive and serial entrepreneur with a passion for business strategy, modeling, start-ups, accelerated business growth, collaboration, and job creation for northern and greater Colorado.
With a background encompassing education, design engineering, business, and product development, operations, HR, sales and marketing, and legal for national and international organizations, Jay was the CEO of YouSeeU-Bongo and founder of the nonprofit Warehouse Business Accelerator, Yellow Duck Investments, and Orphan’s Hope. He was also a founder of CADEKA Microcircuits and Data Entry Products and managed growth companies, including Ultimate Support Systems and Pizza Ranch.
In addition to his work at Vergent, Jay is President of the Loveland Business Partnership and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Angels/Rockies Venture Club, Colorado’s Advanced Industries grant review board, and an active business mentor. He holds an associate’s degree in electronics from Northwest Iowa Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and an MBA from Regis University.
