Vergent Products, Loveland, CO, has recently added a new custom service to our full turnkey suite of contract manufacturing and product design services. Our new Configure-to-Order (CTO) service is a great fit for finished product assemblies that need customization for specific end customers or market sub-segments. Vergent has historically been known for providing product design services, and full turnkey contract manufacturing services.

Industrial machinery companies are always striving to build smarter machines and offer more value to their customers.  Tracy Ireland, Chief Operating Officer stated ‘A few of our key clients needed us to take their finished product assemblies and customize individual units or systems for their downstream customers.  So this was a natural extension for us to add this service.  Coupling CTO with our existing direct 3PL distribution service enables our clients to streamline the time and costs associated with getting their product built, customized, and delivered directly to their end customers’.   From the time we receive the order for a customized unit, we are able to pull the product from finished goods inventory, conduct the custom configuration firmware or software steps, package and ship all within 3-4 days.  For clients that need the mechanical assembly customized to add or subtract any features, we can manage these requests typically with a bit more lead time.  If your product needs custom configuration as a key ingredient in your offer to your customers, please give us a call and we would be happy to see how we can help.
